information. BIO A soft-spoken, gentle young man who is always careful to present himself as the very ordinary owner of a video store called Random Play. Beneath the surface, Wise is in fact one of two legendary Proxies operating under the codename "Phaethon." As a Proxy, Wise is effectively a programmer, navigator and battlefield strategist who guides explorers known as Agents through dangerous, unstable zones known as Hollows. He works together with his sister Belle (and the Bangboo "pet" they can interface with, Eous) in more or less perfect sync. Calm, analytical, and dependable, Wise is almost always quietly in control of a situation, and if he isn't, he'll take steps to make sure that he is. His sweet and patient demeanor masks a tendency to break rules and manipulate little details in his favor to get what he wants, but his uncompromising sense of moral integrity is entirely genuine. When he's not working, he's an artsy, sensitive type who likes watching documentaries and award-winning films. Despite his responsible, composed exterior, he has a bad habit of spending too much money on games and gacha. Casually suffers from regular bouts of insomnia. (Note: I can play Wise as either the active Proxy or Belle's assistant. Just bear with me if I get some minor details about Wise's assistant route wrong, as Wise is the Proxy on my own account and it hasn't been possible for me to compare every single scene between Belle and Wise yet. Nevertheless, I'm familiar with how he generally behaves when Belle is the protagonist. I actually prefer to write Wise as the assistant, and I will default to Wise as the assistant in every thread unless you request that I write Wise as the Proxy.) APPEARANCE Silver hair and turquoise eyes. Strikingly handsome, in a slender, pretty-boy way. Wise tends to be fashionably dressed, but prefers muted colors that don't draw attention to himself. He's actually rather thin, and tends to obfuscate his figure in several layers of clothing as a result. His sister says he's "delicate-looking," like a "stiff breeze would blow him over." Talent scouts often try to recruit him for a modeling career. His eyes turn an electric blue when he's logged in, but few people besides his sister Belle actually see him in that state. VOICE Clear tenor voice, charismatic, gently authoritative. If you're interested in hearing his voice(s), you can listen to him in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. His casting makes him sound pretty similar in all languages. I think the English voice is my favorite and what I'd default to for vocal description, but I'm not opposed to any of the others. This is a much better example of the English voice specifically (it's also hilarious). ic permissions. PLATONIC CONTACT He's pretty open to this. Not hugely cuddly or clingy by default, but he'll definitely hug back if he's hugged first. When "logged in" as Eous, he's round and cute and definitely cuddly. Bit of a disconnect there from how he is as a Bangboo versus how he is in person... SHIPPING & SMUT Generally open to M/M shipping and smut with castmates. Wise isn't particularly difficult to flirt with, though he has a tendency to want to keep flings and hookups on the down low. He is sexually flexible; dom, sub, top, and bottom dynamics are all available. Wise is vers but leans towards being the controlling partner; however, I can write anything. I do not keep a conventional kinklist, so I usually just negotiate smut threads ICly. Feel free to reach out to me to plan out specifics if needed. I'm fine with vanilla and open to hardcore kinks. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE Yes, totally fine, even to fairly serious degrees. Obviously, you'll have to check in with me before killing him, but broken bones and the like are perfectly acceptable. CANON AGE Wise has no canonly stated age, but seems to be on the older end of "young adult." He drives, drinks, and makes a few sexual implications. I'd put him anywhere from 24 to 28 until we get more canon information on this. OTHER I am generally a slow RPer, as a word of warning. Expect me to take anywhere between 2-3 weeks for a tag. I prefer longer tags as a result. Also, it's hardly important, but if for some reason your character needs to identify Wise's Inter-Knot "alt account," I default to Icarus right now (for the obvious thematic reason). I don't think this will come up very often in threads, though, since most characters can just call him "Proxy" or "Phaethon" as needed.
